Where the work is

Roles are based at our clients’ branches and offices in the Kathmandu valley, with some positions at sites elsewhere in Nepal. Depending on the role, you may be employed by J&T Associates on a Nepali contract or recruited directly for the client — the vacancy listing states which applies.

How to apply

Apply online from the vacancy list on our careers page — it takes about five minutes and lets you attach your CV. Shortlisted candidates are contacted by phone or email. If nothing is open today, join our talent list and we will contact you when a banking vacancy opens.

Banking job questions

Do I need banking experience to get a bank job in Nepal?

Not for all roles. Entry-level processing, data entry and verification positions are often open to candidates starting out, while teller and customer-facing roles usually prefer relevant experience. Each vacancy listing states what the client requires.

What is the salary for banking jobs in Nepal?

Pay depends on the role, the bank and your experience, and is discussed with you at interview. The vacancy listing shows whether the position is entry level, mid level or competitive.

When do bank vacancies open?

Banking clients open positions through the year rather than in one annual intake. New roles are listed on our careers page as they come up, and the talent list is the way to hear about them by email.
